Social media marketing expert, Brook Harper, clearly remembers when her parents put all their resources into the family construction company in 2006 and lost over a million dollars in 2008. They went from living in their custom built dream home to an apartment. Now that she runs her own marketing company Brook is super passionate about helping business owners get the most out of their marketing dollars and be successful even when times are hard. In this episode she shares how to be a triple threat in your business.

Brook encourages us to change with the times and make our marketing dollars count. She helps us to understand how social media marketing and video don’t have to be as hard as it we try to make it. She gives specific ideas of categories to use when creating your content calendar, how to re-purpose content, how to be relevant, and the importance of showing up.

Costumes
While stalking… erm, I mean doing research on Brook’s Instagram I came across a picture of her in a fawn costume. Having created one of those for fun in the past I thought it would be a great time to get it out and try it on again. She obliged and wore her antlers in our recording which can be seen in the video on YouTube.
